Clark, Sky Win 92-90 in Rematch Of Top Pick Matchup

The battle of the No. 1 and No. 2 picks in the 2023 WNBA Draft went to the top pick Saturday night.
Caitlin Clark and the Chicago Sky held on to defeat Angel Reese and the Indiana Fever 92-90 Saturday night in Indianapolis, improving to 2-0 in the season series between the two teams.
Clark finished with 28 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals, while Reese had 25 points, 12 rebounds and three assists.
The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than six points at any point. The Sky took a 92-90 lead with 30 seconds remaining on a layup by Rebekah Gardner, and the Fever had a chance to tie the game with 15 seconds left, but Reese's jumper bounced off the rim.
The Sky are now 2-1 on the season, while the Fever are 0-3.
In the first meeting between the two teams on June 1, the Sky won 93-89 in overtime. Clark had 25 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in that game, while Reese had 23 points, 14 rebounds and four assists.
The two teams will meet again on July 22 in Chicago.
