The LSU Tigers have emerged victorious in the 2023 College World Series, claiming their seventh national championship in a resounding 18-4 triumph over the Florida Gators.
After a challenging start to the series, LSU showcased its resilience in Game 3, unleashing a torrent of offense that left Florida reeling. The Tigers racked up 20 hits, including a record-breaking 12 extra-base hits, while their pitching staff kept the Gators at bay.
The win marked LSU's first national title since 2009 and cemented the Tigers' status as one of the most dominant college baseball programs of all time. To commemorate their historic victory, LSU will host a championship celebration at Alex Box Stadium on Wednesday, June 28.
